Training and Placement CellĀ has an important role to play in studentā€™s future an indispensable pillar of the Institute. This department continuously strives to help students in pursuing their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately to attain desired employment. This is accomplished through building a strong partnership amongst students, alumni, faculty members and industries.

JPIT follows centralized placement activity which gives each branch equal opportunity to grow for sustained excellence in career through training & placement.

Training and Placement encompasses three main activities: Training, Education, and Development.

  • Training:Ā Keeping in view the current trends and technologies being used by the industries, the training curriculum is designed for preparing the students as entry level Graduate Engineer Trainees.
  • Education:Ā Appropriate skills for the job profile are acquired by the students during the classroom sessions on Aptitude and Conceptual training.
  • Development:Ā This activity focuses upon the personality development to make the students reliable, with positive attitude and right decision making.

Objectives of this department are as follows:

  • Ā  Assist students to develop their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counselling and group discussion.
  • Ā  Guides and helps in imparting quality practical experience through internship opportunities.
  • Work with faculty members, department Heads and administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum as well as coordinate Project Work/ Summer Training/internship programs.
  • Empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.
  • Assisting different companies in recruiting candidates as per their requirements.

  • Bridging gap between Industry and Academia.

In addition to campus placements the Training and Placement department organizes mock interviews, group discussions, case studies, etc. It also organizes the programs like
