Training and Placement Cell has an important role to play in student’s future an indispensable pillar of the Institute. This department continuously strives to help students in pursuing their career goals by acquiring employment-seeking skills and ultimately to attain desired employment. This is accomplished through building a strong partnership amongst students, alumni, faculty members and industries.

JPIT follows centralized placement activity which gives each branch equal opportunity to grow for sustained excellence in career through training & placement.

Training and Placement encompasses three main activities: Training, Education, and Development.

  • Training: Keeping in view the current trends and technologies being used by the industries, the training curriculum is designed for preparing the students as entry level Graduate Engineer Trainees.
  • Education: Appropriate skills for the job profile are acquired by the students during the classroom sessions on Aptitude and Conceptual training.
  • Development: This activity focuses upon the personality development to make the students reliable, with positive attitude and right decision making.

Objectives of this department are as follows:

  •   Assist students to develop their academic and career interests, and their short and long-term goals through individual counselling and group discussion.
  •   Guides and helps in imparting quality practical experience through internship opportunities.
  • Work with faculty members, department Heads and administration to integrate career planning and academic curriculum as well as coordinate Project Work/ Summer Training/internship programs.
  • Empower students with life-long career decision-making skills.
  • Assisting different companies in recruiting candidates as per their requirements.

  • Bridging gap between Industry and Academia.

In addition to campus placements the Training and Placement department organizes mock interviews, group discussions, case studies, etc. It also organizes the programs like
